Support Staff for Deaf-Blind Woman

Seeking dedicated attentive female staff to support a young woman with varied interests and skills who resides in the near north suburbs of Chicago, Illinois.

The staff will be responsible for providing assistance to the young woman, who is challenged by auditory and visual impairments, as well as a physical disability, as she seeks to improve her quality of life by attending to her daily needs, seeking employment & volunteer opportunities, and participating in social, recreational, & educational activities in the community.

• Applicants must have a high school diploma, knowledge of ASL/Signed English and Illinois Driver’s License.
• Tactile sign experience a plus.
• Competitive pay, based upon experience.
• This is a part-time position
• Practicum credit may be available.
