2017 Deaf-Blind Summit in Austin, TX

Our meeting, DB Summit, will meet from March 5th, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, and March 6th, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM.

If you need hotel accommodations for DB Summit, we have reserved a block of rooms at a hotel at a reduced rate a few miles from TSBVI:
Courtyard by Marriott “Austin – University Area”
5660 N. IH-35, Austin, TX 78751
The rooms are under the group name: DB Summit. The rate will be $128 + 15.82% tax per night for the nights of March 4,5,6.
You will need to arrive on the 4th and should be able to leave on the 6th. However, if you cannot get a flight out that evening there are rooms reserved for the night of the 6th as well.
While this hotel is close to the school, it is still a few miles away. We are exploring transportation options to make it as easy as possible for people to get back and forth.
2017 Texas Symposium on Deafblindness
Texas Symposium on Deafblindness will be held on March 2-4. Summit was paired with the Symposium to make it as easy as possible for project staff to attend both the Symposium and the Summit if you so choose.

The Texas Symposium Pre-Conference event on March 2 will be held at the school; however, the main Symposium conference from March 3-4 will not be at the school but at a hotel approximately 15 miles north of the school.
