Western Region Early Intervention Conference

The conference is being hosted by Colorado agencies serving young children with sensory disabilities: A Shared Vision, Anchor Center for Blind Children, Colorado Department of Education, Colorado Services for Children and Youth with Combined Vision and Hearing Loss Project, Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind, and Hands and Voices.
This conference will have a pre-conference day with two wonderful training options (one with a Harvard neuroscientist on brain-based visual impairment) and two subsequent days of concurrent sessions on current research, medical updates, and best practice strategies for young children (0-5 years) who are deafblind, deaf/hard of hearing, or blind/visually impaired. Many of the speakers have been sponsored by the state deaf-blind projects in this collaborative western region training.
