Sneak Peek of our First Families Matter Story

Family Engagement

Posted by Megan Cote, Dec 16, 2015

In the spirit of the holiday season and celebrating those we hold dear, we are excited to announce that on Wednesday, January 6th we will be launching our first web-based family story about a young man named Jake Steinbach.  The intent of these stories is to inspire and engage the network about communication, literacy, movement, transition, empowerment and teaming needs that arise as a result of a family member experiencing a combined vision and hearing loss.  It has been an honor for the NCDB staff to compile this remarkable story.  Here's a small clip of what you have to look forward to:

In the meantime, we hope everyone has a happy holiday season!
