Recommended Knowledge and Skill Sets for State Deaf-Blind Project Family Engagement Coordinators

Family Engagement

NCDB is excited to announce the release of a document called Recommended Knowledge and Skill Sets for State Deaf-Blind Project Family Engagement Coordinators. The document was created by a group comprised of representatives from state deaf-blind projects, NFADB, the CHARGE Syndrome Foundation, the Region 4 Parent Training Center, and NCDB, in response to growing awareness of the wide array of knowledge and skills needed to effectively support families of children who experience deaf-blindness. This document will be used as a guide for identifying and designing training opportunities for individuals serving in the role of Family Engagement Coordinator. We encourage you to take a look and let us know what you think: https://nationaldb.org/library/page/2658
