Booklet: "Interveners in the Classroom"

Interveners and Qualified Personnel

Hi everyone,

At a recent meeting of our Intervener Services technical work group, several members talked about a very helpful resource for teams that include an intervener. This came up as we were discussing resources that can be used to increase acceptance and recognition of interveners. The resource is a 36-page booklet called "Interveners in the Classroom: Guidelines for Teams Working with Students Who Are Deafblind." It was published in 2007. You can find out more about it, including ordering information here (near the bottom of the page): http://intervener.org/resources.

Do you have a favorite resource that you find helpful for increasing understanding of intervener services? Please share in the comments.

Thanks,
Peggy
