Assessment of DeafBlind Access to Manual Language Systems (ADAMLS)

This workshop, offered by Connections Beyond Sight and Sound, introduces the Assessment of DeafBlind Access to Manual Language Systems (ADAMLS), designed for parents, educators, and service providers supporting individuals who are deafblind. Participants will learn how ADAMLS evaluates a person’s access to and use of manual language systems, such as tactile sign language. The workshop covers assessment methods, strategies for improving communication, and ways to tailor language access to meet the unique needs of individuals who are deafblind.
