Empowering Interveners Series

This monthly virtual training series, from the Wisconsin Deafblind Technical Assistance Project, is on effective strategies, best practices, and innovative approaches in deafblind education. It's free of charge, and RID CEUs are available.

The series is held on the second Tuesday of every month from 6 to 7:30 p.m. CST. 

• March 11, 2025 – "Communication" as compared to "Participation," with Susan Bashinski
• April 8, 2025 – Supporting Availability for Learning for Learners Who Are Deafblind, with Chris Russell
• May 13, 2025 – Understanding and Supporting Presymbolic Communication Development, with Chris Russell
• June 10, 2025 – Adapting Concrete Communication Modalities and the Path to Symbolism for Students Who Are Deafblind, with Chris Russell
• July 8, 2025 – Developing a Learner's Skill to Communicate with Others Intentionally, with Susan Bashinski
• August 12, 2025 – Topic To Be Determined
