Upcoming Event: Identifying and Supporting Students Who Have Brain-Based Hearing Issues

The Ohio Center for Deafblind Education is offering a free online presentation, “Using a New Checklist to Identify Students Who May Have Brain-Based Hearing Issues and Strategies for Supporting Their Learning and Active Engagement,” on Sept. 5, from 4 to 5 p.m. ET. The event, presented by Maurice Belote, will provide an overview of a new annotated checklist that can guide families and educational teams in determining whether a child might have a brain-based hearing issue.
